One of many current projects...

My current project is a colorful scarf  in Double Crochet with Lily Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn and a Boye J crochet hook.  The scarf is approximately 250 stitches long.  I will provide exact dimensions when I finish next week.

I was making a shopping bag out of Bernat shopping yarn when I realized how light and soft the yarn was. It seemed so more more practical for North Florida than the fuzzy wools and acrylic blends. And I seem to have inherited a love of bright colors from my grandmother.

This picture shows the scarf at 2 rows wide.  It is currently 5 rows wide with enough yarn for 6 rows.  Now is the point where I must decide which is the most aesthetically pleasing.

Thanks for visiting at Lael's Corner.  Comments and questions always welcome.
